Art jewelry – Liz Hall graduated for Maryland Institute of Art in 1985 where she majored in crafts with jewelry/metal being her main focus. My work combines precious metals, stones, plastics, polymers, glass or whatever object catches my eye. My designs are contemporary combining both organic and geometric forms. My main focus in the past was fabricating metals to create my designs. In 2004 I discovered a new medium called PMC (Precious Metal Clay), which is clay like material composed of fine silver.

My design inspirations come from nature and my childhood growing up in the Mediterranean. When I create my designs I do not think of them just as a piece of jewelry but works of wearable art. My store, Designer Goldsmiths specializes on one of a kind creations and custom design work.

My work combines my own glass beads, fresh water pearl,semi-precious stones and other misc glass beads from around the world. I consider myself a professional beader considering I have been beading for 23 years. I am involved in the Northern Virginia Bead Society, Society of Glass Beadmakers and a founding member of The Gateway Gallery. My work reflects all the thing I love color, texture and nature.
